MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2025/2026 STATEMENT

Tipmaster Ltd

Introduction from the Director

Modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our business or supply chain. Everyone at Tipmaster is expected to stay alert to risks, raise concerns promptly, and help us act on them.

Who We Are

Tipmaster Ltd is a East London-based tipping-body manufacturer and specialist vehicle bodybuilder. We operate from 15 Rigg Approach, London E10 7QN.

What We Do

We design, manufacture and support tipper bodies and related conversions, supplying customers across local authority, utilities, waste and recycling, construction and highways. We also provide a comprehensive spares service, including hydraulic power packs, rams and body parts.

Our Supply Chain

We source predominantly within the UK across categories such as steel, hydraulics, electrical components, paint/powder, machining/fabrication and chassis. We employ around 30 direct employees and use approved contractors where needed.

Standards and Governance

We have zero tolerance of modern slavery. Our framework includes right-to-work checks for all employees, fair recruitment (no fees to workers; no retention of identity documents), fair pay in line with UK minimum wage requirements, an anonymous reporting channel, and supplier standards that prohibit forced labour and trafficking. Oversight sits with the Director named below; managers handle day-to-day compliance.

Risk and Due Diligence

  • Build long-term relationships with trusted UK suppliers and set clear expectations.
  • Use a supplier onboarding questionnaire and contractual clauses banning forced labour.
  • Prefer UK entities or UK offices of multinationals as our point of contact and expect “one-up” checks in the chain.
  • Maintain right-to-work and personnel records for our workforce.

Training and Awareness

Managers and staff receive briefings on signs of exploitation and how to escalate concerns. Procurement, stores and workshop leads receive targeted refreshers relevant to their roles.

Reporting Concerns

Concerns can be raised confidentially via our anonymous reporting email: info@tipmaster.co.uk. We investigate promptly, support affected workers and, where appropriate, inform the authorities.

Measuring Effectiveness

  • Regular communication and personal contact with suppliers and their understanding of, and compliance with, our expectations.
  • Manager and staff briefings;
  • Incidents reported, investigations and outcomes.

Findings are reviewed by the Director and used to strengthen controls.

Approval and Review

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. This statement will be reviewed and updated annually (if necessary) to reflect our ongoing commitment to ensuring that our business and supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
